CATHY BRANDT

My plan is to work on the idea "waiting/looking for spring". Documenting the progression of the campus from winter to spring. Hopefully shooting in the same/similar locations throughout the semester. I want to work in the wet-dark room and in the DIL for this project adding color to black and white photos I think would make for an interesting effect.

  1. I am going to add color photos instead of just black and white photos in order to add another dimension to the idea of traveling through time.

  2. Took more pictures today.

Looking for signs of tulips or daffodils, anyone seen any?

  4. More winter shots for my final project. Works for me. I'll be spending a good portion of my early evening shooting.

  5. I'm getting tired of taking pictures in the cold. I think I've got enough winter pictures. Give me spring! I need to take pictures of spring!

  7. Horray for spring! I've taken pictures of flowering plants all over campus from behind Schaefer all the way over to Historic's Daffodil valley. It was a good afternoon.

  9. I've developed my winter role of film. Everything came out alright, I just need to spend hours in the DIL scanning the film into the computer.

  10. I've got a lot of good feedback from the class and it has given me a lot to think about for the final project. I'll be making more spreads printing them up and laying them out this weekend to see what it will look like and move things around.
