Robert Frank on NPR's All Things Considered

Photo of Robert Frank in His Manhattan Studio by Allen Ginsberg (1988)

Viewing the newest copy of Robert Frank's The Americans in class, it became clear that this work is vital to our study of photography, and more specifically to our understanding of the photo book.

Though our trip to D.C. is a month and a half away, my interest for Robert Frank was reignited by a segment on NPR's All Things Considered that featured an interview of the man himself with Tom Cole. Click on the link below to listen to the segment.

  1. Thanks Bart and Glencora for making this visible.

I saw the show yesterday, and I think/hope you folks won't be disappointed in April when we visit with the curator...I have the catalog, and will share it with the class in the coming weeks.

Make sure to listen to the Bob Edwards link in the sidebar...
